Ridiculous Band Names
The reasoning (or lack thereof) behind the 25 most ridiculous band names is explained in a recent article at Cracked.com. Both the explanation for the moniker and the commentary as to why it is “ridiculous” are entertaining enough.
I was hoping for a couple belly laughs. Unfortunately, when you break it all down, the basis for nearly every name choice is neither hilarious nor far-removed from the bases offered by college bands everywhere: “We thought this inside joke or esoteric reference would be kinda funny.”
Maybe my hopes were too high for a self-titled list of the ridiculous.
